Students assist Columbia and ALMS in planning and running an intergenerational community event for senior citizens. Responsibilities include coordinating activities, preparing materials, engaging seniors in conversations and games, and helping ensure the event runs smoothly. The focus is on building community connection, combating social isolation, and supporting senior wellness.

Time Commitment

As an intern: 4–6 hrs/week for 6–8 weeks (planning + event execution)

As a volunteer: One-day event (4–6 hrs) plus optional prep session
